Conservation strategies

The foundation of our conservation strategies is to involve local residents and authorities, the general public, government agencies, and experts so that our conservation projects are executed effectively and so that impacts of our conservation actions are long lasting.

Prioritization
When prioritizing potential projects, we consider short-term feasibility and impacts as well as long-term goals.

Working together
We consider ourselves as members of a team that includes a wide range of stakeholders. Depending on the project, we may take a leading role, supporting role, or moderating role.

Science-based
We use findings from scientific research when designing conservation projects. By taking the science-based approach, we hope to resolve conflicts among different viewpoints.

Monitoring & evaluation
The progress of a project is monitored and evaluated periodically. We may modify the original plan to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
